Save64.org Responds to NCDOT / Wasserman’s Comments
2009 June 2
Dear Mr. Wasserman,
We saw your statement on the news yesterday, and we think you’re missing our point.
Save64.org is standing up for citizens, taxpayers and voters who don’t want the superstreet/expressway in Apex and Cary.
Funding or no funding, study or no study, tomorrow or in thirty years…
….we don’t want it here. Not now, not ever.
Respectfully,
Save64.org
For the good of our community this is nuts to spend the money on something soo foolish and will ruin home values …Please use that money to help provide education for our children.. We have businesses and schools and many home districts in which you are willing to destroy. Please reconsider what you are doing. We need money put elsewhere in this community..Thinking about closing Libraries is also a mistake..Our children and adults all use these facitilies for knowledge..What are you all thinking. A homeowner//
I didn’t see his comments on the news. Does anyone have a link, or know wich station it is on? I would like to see his comments.
Building roads does not solve traffic congestion – it never has and it never will! Building roads will only make the problem worse; which will cause our brilliant DOT engineers to suggest building even bigger roads to alleviate the problem. DOT’s videos do not reflect the real traffic congestion which will be created by six lane highways – they only show a handful of cars taking a casual sunday drive set to cheesy music. “Good faith representation” my a$$.
