NEW–Meeting with DOT on July 16, 2009

On June 5, Save64.org delivered over 2600 signatures to the NCDOT. These signatures are now part of the official DOT Record of Citizens’ Feedback regarding the US Hwy 64/49 study/proposal. Thank you to all who signed—your collective voice of opposition has been heard.

The NCDOT has agreed to hold a public meeting with all concerned citizens on July 16th at Green Hope High School (time to be announced). PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW AND PLAN ON ATTENDING.

Via this article, we concerned citizens publicly and formally ask the NCDOT to open the floor to citizens’ comments and questions at the meeting on July 16th, 2009 at Green Hope High School. Further, we expect the NCDOT to address our questions at this meeting, and we reserve the right to request future meetings with the NCDOT if our concerns are not resolved.
